Ask for Benito!! Great Loan Officer
Benito was great to work with, he responded in a timely fashion answering any question I had and very helpful. Appraisal was fast and smooth, after that it slowed way down, from actually nailing down a closing date. Signed papers and 10 days after signing papers still not have finalized payments and cash back. A little frustrated when everyone said 4 days after signing we would be done. Solidifi is blaming FedEx for the hold up with no tracking info of an Eta. Pretty frustrated today! Started process on Dec 22, 2020. Hope this will aid in speeding up the process for future customers. Kudos to Benito for his services, wish rest of the company could compliment him and your services.

Absolute clown show
Absolute clown show. I had a very basic re-fi- with a LTV of 28%. If I had defaulted they would have made a lot of money as I wasnt cashing out anything-just lowering my rate. I have perfect credit and very solid employment. Over a period of 3 months- my originator quit leaving me with a clueless processor that asked for the same documents over and over again. The topper? Asking me to supply my employers tax returns. I kid you not. My experience is not unusual if you read genuine reviews from non-astroturphed sites. Avoid at all costs. I went elsewhere and have a higher APR- but well worth not dealing with this clown show.

Rates are enticing, but don’t do it!!
My experience with AmeriSave was very frustrating. I should have paid attention to the big red flag when they required a $500 Deposit just to fill out an application! Who ever heard of such a thing with applying for a loan? My bad for being sucked in. My Loan Officer, Maverick Peterson, is where my frustration started. He was mostly unavailable any time I called him, texted him, or sent him an email. He would never return a request for him to call me. The most I ever got any response from him is when I communicated that his servicing of my loan was not meeting my expectations and that I wanted another loan officer. His excuse was that our different time zones and that he was just recovering from surgery what was excuse for not servicing my loan. I called AmeriSave to ask for another loan officer and no one returned my call. I then quit processing my loan with them. I am now in the process of requesting my $500 fee back since there was little serving of my loan with AmeriSave through their customer service number. I also am disputing their charge through my credit card company. All that being said, apply at your own risk! I went through Ladera Lending and their servicing was exceptional!

Comedy of errors
Comedy of errors I've gone through refinances two other times. Those refinances couldn't have gone any smoother. On the other hand, going through my refinance with Amerisave was an excruciatingly painful experience. Poor communication throughout, drastic closing cost increases, new requirements to close that we didn't discuss previously, just to name a few. The icing on the cake is seeing this review request come to my email inbox even though my refinance still hasn't fully closed for some unknown delay (still waiting for funds to be dispersed for some reason). Until things are 100% final and closed, I fear something else will go wrong.

We highly recommend Amerisave
Very fast, very competitively priced (beat quotes from TOP 2 other lenders), and reduced costs further by accepting recent older appraisal and not requiring a new one. As rates came down slightly during the underwriting period our loan manager locked in the additional savings for us. We were given final opportunity on our costs prior to closing and the option to handle insurance and taxes separately on our own - which made everything simple and clean. Applied 1/18 and received check 2/23. Bryan K was no nonsense, no pressure, was thorough, and ensured that we understood every aspect at each step of this refi. We have had many mortgages and refi - this one was literally seamless. We highly recommend Amerisave.

Disappointed in the closing process and lack of payment instructions
Very happy with the rates and terms of my refinance. The closing process was lacking - the lawyer did not return my calls or emails, contacted me via text 3 times saying he was going to be late, and AmeriSave has not reached out with any instructions on what to expect for our first payment and how to pay online. This would be very difficult and stressful for people less organized than myself and husband. EDIT: AmeriSave immediately contacted me regarding this review and went through what to expect for my first month's payment. I'm very happy and would change my experience to 4 starts.

The processing of my file went well but here it is over a month after closing and I still can’t get copies of my signed closing documents. Told to reach out to the title company and title company says reach out to AmeriSave. No ownership. Now silence. How can I get a copy of my signed documents? Great experience
Erika was very helpful throughout the refinance process. My husband and I went back and forth about a couple of rates before we locked in and she provided information that we needed quickly so we could make a decision. The automated AmeriSave’s Automated System
While I appreciate the automated System used by AmeriSave Mortgage Corp, too often one employee did not know what another was doing NOR what they were reviewing such that unnecessary duplicate information was sought needlessly when in fact it had been fully uploaded; further autogenerated statements were issued under an employee’s name stating documents were ready for review on the main web site WHEN they weren’t available yet. The original rate quoted was among the lowest found, and that finally obtained has yet been matched in any advertisements seen. My loan processor, Bart Whitehouse, was very accommodating in most instances, but sometimes hard to reach to clarify information he had given. My Processor, Danny Abbott, was most thorough and professional at all times.

Problems from the get go
Problems from the get go. Apprasial ordered in inspection window so inspection was a waste as it already appraised. Repeated requests for information already sent. Did not provide loan approval on time 3 days later were unsure on what they needed to send and by what date. Down to the wire on closing with not getting paperwork to title company. Poor communication with me, my realtor and each other. Glad we got the house but would not recommend.
