Awful company
Awful company , said I had 4.99 student loan refinance with MEFA,who without notice cancelled my application after months of sending over document after document, credible's response, I'd have to start application all over again,no follow up, completely misleading company.

Finally feeling hopeful
Credible made comparing student loan interest rates in(credib)ly easy! I was able to find a lender who offered me an interest rate that was almost half the rate of my current loan which means I will pay less interest, can pay off my loan much faster and will be free of my loan sooner. Making me feel hopeful about getting out from under this debt for the first time since taking it out 15 years ago.

Goodbye Navient
With Navient I was useing an income driven repayment plan that was not even paying the interest, my amount owed was going up even with me paying about 250.00 a month. They said if I hot off the income based payment plan it was going to jump to over 500.00. Credible found me a student loan rate that was only 75 a month more, but 10 years shorter, reduced my interest rate by 2% and I am actially reducing how much Inowe with each payment.

Worth the small amount of time to use

completely inaccurate- do NOT recommend
just a warning– do NOT recommend Credible. Found their information quite inaccurate. One of their supposed “partners” did not show up with even an offer and was the lowest out of about 5 lenders I applied with directly. When I applied directly with lenders they featured, the rates were different. not sure why this website gets any positive press— guess they pay for it. save yourself $$$— apply DIRECTLY with lenders. forget "Credible" as there is absolutely nothing credible about it. oh, and of course their “better rate” guarantee is not awarded when you submit. they just say it is a partner and excluded… shouldn’t they know said partner rates the most? laughable. total scam and clearly they aren't looking out for the customer.

Poor customer service and false promises about referral bonus'
I was looking to refinance my student loans and my father referred me to credible. He said we would both get a bonus if I used them. So I did, the loan went through Citizens bank. But when it came time to get my and my fathers referral bonus they said we were not eligible because my father and I have the same name and address. When they informed me of this problem my father switched his email account to his shared email with my mother and him that was under my mothers name. When I spoke to credible about this problem they said my case was closed, stopped responding to my emails, and we never got our bonus (500 for me and 200 for my father). I did get a good refinance rate for my loans so i'm happy about that, but there are many other places I wish I had gone to get a bonus for refinancing. Disappointed in the lack of support and customer service from this company.

Overall easy to use. Some Confusion when switching between credible and the bank that you will end up using for your actual loan refi. But the rates were great and that they were always very on top of emailing for updates and customer service was great when I had a question.

I love Credible
I love Credible! I didn't even know something like this existed until I came across the Credible website. It was so easy to use and there were not tricks or gimmicks they simply showed me lenders rates for refinancing my student loans. I wish I would have found this service sooner...I could have saved time and money! I refinanced through one of the lenders Credible listed and the interest rate that was shown on Credible became my actual interest rate after my refinancing application was complete. I have used other sites where they list one interest rate but once you apply the interest rate significantly increases. This was not the case with Credible what you see is what you get. I highly recommend using Credible!

My bank (pnc) offered 14% 3years $9k to pay off a personal loan. I've paid them faithfully for the past 2.5 yrs (balance from 8,500) is $4721 with a current 18.2% killing me. I have been grinding on my credit from good to excellent with current 787,801 fico scores with no late payments, 0 collections of any kind, 17% credit utilization. PNC offer was 14.?% 3 yrs 9k...wait..what🤬? That's your offer from a devoted patron! I AM NOT settling this time! I've have found Credible online and No Hard Pull?! I was SOLD! They offered me Penfed C/U 8.49% 3 years $9k. 🥲🥰 Now that personal loan and two credit cards will be paid off in 3 years! Only 8 months difference then my original loan payoff date. The payment for the loan for $250 and 2 credit card payments off $100 each being $450 is now only $286. Beyond happy! No fax or docs. Just e-signed..check will be here in 5 to 7 days! Thank you, you are so needed! On my way to continuing to be debt-free!

Credible was awesome
Credible was awesome. It showed my various loan offers, the interest rate, how long the term was for and how much I would have to pay monthly. Made you make the best comfortable decision. My only problem was that before getting to the loans it was advertised that you could get loans with interest rates as low as 2% when in reality the interest rates are more like 18%. Overall good experience.

Cut my Predatory Interest Rate in Half
