Zachary Snyder

Zachary Snyder is an experienced legal, compliance, and policy consultant for the insurance and healthcare industries with over 15 years of direct experience. In his career, Zach enjoy helping individuals understand complex healthcare coverage laws so they feel empowered in their health care journey.

He has served as a Vice President for a healthcare data analytics company contracted to provide healthcare compliance consulting services to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), state governments, and health insurance carriers. He has also served as a Director of Government Affairs for several large health and dental insurance carriers, and as legal expert or advisor for health insurance regulatory agencies at the state and federal level.

Zach has have served on numerous industry boards and commissions, including as the Chair of the Washington Association of Health Care Plans, a member of the Advisory Committee to the Washington State Health Benefit Exchange, and on the Washington State Out of Pocket Costs Taskforce.

In addition to consulting, Zach is an adjunct professor at Bellevue College and Bastyr University where he teaches classes on health care law, compliance, and policy.

He holds a law degree (JD) from Seattle University School of Law; a Master of Public Administration in Public Policy (MPA) from Seattle University; and a bachelor’s degree in political science (BA) from Western Washington University.
